Eligibility Criteria For the UN Careers
Depending on the occupation, different qualifications are required for employment with the UN. In general, candidates must be at least 18 years old, have a current passport, be able to legally work in the nation where the position is situated, and have at least two years of relevant work experience. Additionally, candidates need to show that they are fluent in at least one of the six UN official languages (English, French, Spanish, Chinese, Russian, and Arabic). For some occupations, there may be additional particular criteria.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Candidates must have the following prerequisites and credentials in order to be eligible for UN Jobs in Dubai:
- a graduate degree from a university in a related discipline.
- extensive practical experience in the relevant field.
- excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- working well with people from various ethnic origins and in multicultural situations fervent dedication to the ideals and principles of the UN.
- It would be ideal to have a master’s degree in a relevant discipline and/or significant experience in a connected industry.
- proficiency in at least one of the UN’s official languages.
- the capacity to utilize computers and relevant software.
- working familiarity with the UN Charter and other pertinent legal instruments.
- Fluency in writing and speaking English is a must.
- knowledge of contemporary concerns in international development.
